Now, i'm looking forward to cooler days ahead filled with:

Happy October!  This navy tunic dress with maroon accents is the perfect color combination as we transition into October, plus it was a steal for under $30 at Forever21.  I swear, I can never leave that store without buying something, which usually includes jewelry.  I topped off the dress with a maroon wide-brim fedora, which elongates the overall color palette and provides visual balance with the blue hued booties (which by the way I snagged on major sale a few months back at the Bloomingdale's outlet).  I have my eye on a few pieces at Forever21 for this season, including this Plaid Shirt Dress.

Happy Hump Day, hope this post gives you some inspiration to get through the rest of the work week.  As always, I'm looking forward to the weekend.  Happy Styling!

With Spring's arrival today, I wanted to share a swing dress that can transition from Winter to Spring.  I'm sure I'll be wearing this dress all season long + well into Summer, but you can bet your {blank} I won't be wearing tights and/or a jacket.   Here's to the Season of New Beginnings.

 [ clutch: Clare Vivier via Piperlime ]  [ necklace: J.Crew Factory ]  [ shades: Ray Ban ]  [ ring: Forever 21 ]

I snagged this Winter White dress from the Banana Republic clearance rack for only $40!  I love the low-back detail.  This look is perfect for a date night or dinner with girlfriends.

November Necessities

November 20, 2013

[ one. colorful coat ]  [ two. infinity fur scarf ]  [ three.  oversized tuxedo blouse ]
[ four. bold, dark lips ]  [ five. thick leggings ]  [ six. over-the-knee boots ]

I am currently craving these six necessities for the chilly November we're having.  These BP leggings are at the top of my list.  My bestie has been recommending them highly for months now.  Plus, because of their thick texture + wide waistband, they're sure to keep me warm + comfy all winter long.
What's on the top of your list as we transition to the colder weather?

Fall First

October 2, 2013
[ leggings: Top Shop ]  [ blouse: Vince ]  [ wedges: DVF ]  [ purse worn as clutch: Tory Burch similar ]  [ shades: Burberry ]  [ watch + ring: Michael Kors ]
So, this blouse.  A fall first + perfect for date night or dinner with the girls.  Believe it or not, I bought this Vince blouse over the summer  [on the clearance rack]  at TJMaxx and I've been anxiously waiting for its debut.  The burnt color is very fitting for fall, if you ask me.  Pair it with a pair of (faux) leather leggings, my favorite wedges, some rose gold accessories, and voila, the perfect early fall look.  Any suggestions how I should style this blouse with jeans?  Skinny or boyfriend?  With a pair of pointy toe pumps.. thoughts?  Thanks for stopping by.
