Can I just tell you this grey turtleneck is only $15?!  It's a very fine-knit, not heavy and super comfortable!  I'm planning on packing this baby for my upcoming trip to Iceland.  I'm even thinking about picking up the black option before they sell it.  It's perfect for travel because it's lightweight, and it's versatility will allow me to style it a couple different ways on my trip.  Can't wait!

My entire outfit is either on sale or very well priced - shoes are under $100 w/ coupon code 'SAVE', similar purse is only $25, poncho is only $30, and jeans are on sale for under $30.  Happy Shopping!

Is this not the most perfect shade of pink?  I wore this look last weekend to my friend Amy's baby shower - yes, she's having a girl!  I bought this dress last fall before it sold out, and decided the baby shower was the perfect occasion to break it out.   To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive to wear pink to the shower.  I kept thinking: is this cliche?  to matchy-matchy?  taking attention away from the mom-to-be?  But Amy was excited I was wearing pink, and I wasn't the only one who dressed the color.  (Remember this look with pops of blue that I wore to a baby boy baby shower last year.)

For any event, baby or bridal, I always love to dress up and/or dress the theme (remember the look I wore to Amy's wedding last Spring).  Personally, I'd rather be over-dressed than under-dressed.  I always look to the invitation to give some hints as to what the decor and/or attire might be.  When in doubt, ask.  Either a friend, the host/hostess or (if its NOT a surprise shower) the honoree.  See my bridal shower posts here & here.

I'm sure this dress will get lots of wear this spring.  Shop my other pink shift dress picks below.

Hello!  It's been a while, but I'm back at it this week with a few new looks for you that I've very excited about.  I've shared this top with you almost a year ago now...  and it's still one of my favorites.  I've been into over-sized tops lately paired with black leggings (see here & here).

I decided to accessorize this top a bit differently by borrowing a silk wrap from one of the black dresses in my closet.  Instead of tying it around my waist, I opted for a bow around my collar.  What do you think?

With the impending snow expected today through tomorrow in Boston, I wanted to share this winter weather ready look.  This coat is by far the warmest I have ever own.  I actually snagged it on sale, but it's definitely worth the investment.  (I've even seen the same coat in White at t.j.maxx, so keep your eyes open for it).  An oversized scarf and boots are my go-to accessories to finish the look...

I wore this same look recently on a snowy afternoon a few weeks back.    Follow me on Instagram here.

Have a great week!

draft kings swag

February 7, 2016
I attended a fundraiser back in November to support my friend, Scott, and his Movember Foundation team: Stache Browns and Eggs.  It was a fun event hosted at a local spot, the Night Shift Brewery, with tons of awesome raffle prizes, all donated by local restaurants and businesses.  I was hoping to win a very nice bottle of champagne.  (I literally put almost all of my raffle tickets in the Champs bucket).  Instead, I walked away with this draft kings swag bag. (I guess I got lucky because I only put 1 or 2 raffle tickets in the draft kings bucket.)  But, I can't complain because it was for a good cause and the swag bag will filled with SO many goodies: t-shirts, sweatshirts, a snow hat, baseball hat, a golf shirt and towel, water bottle, hot sauce?, and of course the awesome gym bag that I use almost daily.  So Thank you to my friend Scott, his team, and the Movember Foundation.  (learn more about the Movember Foundation here)

So in honor to the end of Football season (and because I told my friends I would), I'm sharing some pictures of my new draft kings 'swag'.

Oh, and how cute is my little photo bomber.
