Spotted in Spots

How was everyone's weekend?  It has been a few busy weeks in a row for me now, and I'm in need of a little break!  Think I'm headed to Maine for the weekend and the timing couldn't be more perfect... 

How do you feel about this dress?  I was hesitant because I felt it made me look too boxy and 'full' in the waistline.  But given the short length paired with the arched cut at the waist, I suppose it works.  I kept it very simple with my shoes and accessories.  You know I love an all black and white look!

Fall Brunching // with Hush Puppies

I had the great pleasure of brunching with some fabulous ladies last week thanks to Hush Puppies!  It was a perfect morning to catch up with some blogger babes at Bastille Kitchen in the Seaport, while previewing HP's new fall line.  I picked out this fabulous Melodi Langdon to style, but I certainly have my eyes on this pair (with built in wedge heel - amazing!)  Hope you enjoy this look!  Stay tuned for more this week.

Take Your Tunic From Day to Night

Long, oversized tunics have been my go-to lately.  Maybe its the long length, but I love the idea of a patterned top that can work both during the day and at night.  Are you looking for ways to take your look from daytime to night?  My two favorite ways are to elevate and accessorize.  Swap the flats for some heeled booties or your favorite pumps, and trade in the tote bag for a feminine clutch...  Or if the night air is too much to bare, use your scarf as a shall and add a statement necklace around your neck.

Happy Tuesday all!  Today's post is a quick one, as I've been very busy lately.  I wanted to share this wicked comfortable shirt dress from the brand 'Glamorous' via Nordstrom.  I always gravitate towards this line because of the affordable price point and wearable styles - like this floral number or this (totally work ready) button down.
