Manic Monday

I guess you could say I'm gravitating towards a black-white-red color palette lately (proof here and here).  Its a classic combo.

I'm loving this vest because of the endless possibilities: pair with a white sweater or button-down, a chambray, stripes, leopard.. etc.  You could even be a bit daring and pair it with a larger buffalo plaid shirt, like these here or here.  And since the vest is on crazy sale, you can't go wrong.

Juxtaposed

You know the best part about Thursday?  Tomorrow is Friday!  This look sends major 'casual' Friday vibes with the prim & pleated top, juxtaposed with totally destroyed denim.  This look can take you from day to night.  I can't wait to break in these jeans a bit more - stretch 'em out a bit and rip 'em up a bit more.  What do you think?  And what are your plans for the weekend?  More importantly, what are you going to wear??

Hey everyone.  I hope you had a fabulous weekend!  It always seems to go by too fast...  Anywho, I'm sharing my favorite new sweater today: this cricket v-neck from Nordstrom.  Of course, the black and white combo immediately caught my attention when I walked past it.  The black/white stripe combo screams varsity tennis (or perhaps cricket?).  But once I tried it on, the slouchy, slightly over-sized fit totally sealed the deal.  I had to have it.  Does that ever happen to you?   Do tell...
