During my European holiday, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit the breathtaking country of Norway (also the land of my heritage). These few pictures are my attempt in giving you a glimpse of just how amazing our visit was. During our stay in the West Coast city of Bergen, we took an all day tour (train-bus-boat-railway-train) of The Naeroyfjord, Norway's longest, narrowest + deepest fjord. Fjords are long, narrow inlets of sea bordered by steep sides, typically formed from due to glacial activity - as you can probably tell from the pictures, they were truly amazing. Of course, we were able to carve out some time for city-exploring + shopping. Our stay was chilly, expensive (apparently Norwayis one of the most expensive countries in the world ~ $45 for a pizza and $17 for a draft beer) but absolutely beautiful! A once in a lifetime experience + worth every penny.
