Leopard Blanket Scarf // How to Wear 2 Ways

December 7, 2016

This is my favorite scarf of the season!  So its not surprise I had tons of fun wearing it a couple different ways.  I hope this provides you with a bit of inspiration for all your favorite blanket scarfs this winter.  For even more ideas, check out last year's blanket scarf post.

how to style your blanket scarf

December 10, 2015
This season particularly, blanket scarfs are everywhere!  You may find your self wondering: "How the heck do I wear this thing?" or "How do I get the most use out of my scarf?"  There are many possibilities but I wanted to share 3 of my favorite ways to style my blanket scarves:

1 - Tied around the neck.

This is a great way to add those last minute finishing touches to your look, plus it provides added warmth for those days that a coat just isn't necessary.

2 - Draped long around the neck

This option adds length and dimension to the overall look, while providing additional warmth.  Pair with your favorite pea-coat or just by itself.

3 - Wrapped around your shoulders as a poncho.

This option is perfect for travelling (say long Holiday car rides) or running those last minute Holiday errand (you know?  when you don't want to wear a bulky jacket).  For a dressier look, say grabbing drinks with your girl friends after work, take your favorite belt and tie around the poncho at your waist.

I hope these looks provide you with a bit of inspiration this season.  My exact scarf is currently sold out online, but you may still find it in stores.  Shop an almost identical version or black option.

Pane (or window pane) print is becoming increasingly popular (see shift dress,  coat,  skirt,  track pants, etc).  I first styled these pants in this post.  Be sure to shop my look below, and scroll through to find other great pane print pieces.

Destroyed Denim

July 22, 2014

Today I'm sharing 1 OUTFIT // 2 WAYS: dressed up + dressed down.  Versatility is key.  Don't be afraid to "pretty" up some destroyed denim with fancy heels + a structured tote.  The dressed up look would be perfect for dinner with the girls or even date night.  For a more casual look, pair the ripped jeans with some fun costume jewelry colorful sandals: perfect for running errand.  However, all white-on-white look can leave you wanting a bit more, so have fun with it + add pops of color in all your accessories.

For me, I'm way more likely to spend money on ripped/destroyed denim when they're on sale.  Luckily, I scored these white sexy boyfriend jeans at GAP for less than $20.  They're no longer available online, but try searching in store.  That's how I found mine.  Happy Styling.
