Jacquard Fit and Flare

Well, we made it to Friday!  I wore this dress earlier in the week for a few meetings.  I love the texture of this dress, it has a nice weight to it without weighing you down.  I also have the matching peplum top and skirt.  I can't resist the sale racks.  (#sorrynotsorry)  Banana has a great selection of work-ready dresses (and many are on sale).  So be sure to check out their selection, maybe do a little shopping over the weekend?  You can shop my entire look below.   The necklace is an oldie by goodie, so I've linked up a few similar options.

Banana Republic Paisley Print Romper

It's been a while since I've posted... Sharing this adorable romper that I decided to pair with my go-to heels (last seen here).  But this romper would be adorable with some white casual sneakers, like these, or even more dressed up with sleek black pumps and a black clutch.

Isn't this dress adorable?  At a whopping $28 bucks, you just can't beat it.  And technically the stripes are navy, so I'm not defaulting to yet another black and white look.  Have a great weekend!

Denim on Denim

Happy {almost} New Year!  Sorry I haven't posted since last week.  Those dang Holidays can be pretty hectic, you know?  But I hope your's was fabulous!

I'll be quick today... I wanted to share this recent look: Denim on Denim with a slouchy knit sweater and nude pumps.  Pretty basic, but trying to add a bit of dimension with the dueling denims.  In my opinion, if you're going to mix denim, I suggest going for an obvious contrast (i.e. don't mix 2 washes that are very similar in color).   Though who knows, maybe the Canadian tuxedo will be in style for 2015?
