Floral Peplum Blouse

I attended my first #portraitMEET a couple weekends ago with my friend Danielle, at this really cool old mill building in central Mass.  It was inspiring to be around so many professional photographers, models and influencers, all snapping away in this really unique setting.  [While I'm over here maintaining my amateur status.]  We got some great pointers, met some really talented people and created some pretty good content.  We captured the perfect afternoon light filtering into the stairwell just in time to snap these shots.  I'm really looking forward to the next opportunity.

Polka Dot Culottes

Well, here we go again.  Another hot week ahead!  These fluid culottes are perfect for the hot temps.  I actually had to pair this look with a cardigan while I was at the office in the cold air conditioning.  After work, I met up with my girl Danielle for some dinner and drinks (and some blogging).  I had to lose the cardigan -- but as the sun set, this outfit was perfect for some dinner al fresco!

the Perfect Spring Pant

Happy Wednesday!  I have to admit, this week has been crawling!  It could be due to the fact that I'm leaving for Iceland a week from today...  I'm so excited but so confused as to what to pack.  This Sunday will be dedicated to packing (and making sure my luggage doesn't exceed the strict weight limits!).  

This Spring pant look was like a little tease for me...  Luckily, the weather is finally starting to warm up around here, combined with longer amounts of daylight, soon Spring will have sprung.  However, the weather in Iceland will not be so lucky.  I anticipate a multitude of weather conditions: wind, snow, rain...  which leads to my biggest packing conundrum: foot ware. My hunter boots are a no-brainer, but I'm still weighing out my other foot ware options.

Well this week is almost over - thank gosh!  I'm exhausted.  Lucky for me, I'm taking tomorrow off to help my sister and her husband move into their new house (congrats!).

These shorts have been on weekend repeat lately.  They're not on comfortable, but also pretty versatile - pair them with a white (or baby blue) tee, chambray button down or navy silk cami.

Spring Shift

Today's looks is all about celebrating this gorgeous spring weather we've been having.  After such a brutal and long winter, it has been a huge sigh of relief to finally have some sunny days.  I took full advantage on Easter Sunday, pairing this navy & stripe shirtdress with my new favorite printed pumps (see here), and of course, a bold purse to tie it all together.  Oh, and #ineedatan
