My Current Brand Obsession

January 31, 2017
I have a major brand crush on English Factory and Endless Rose these days.  From a reachable price point to on-trend styles, these 2 brands fit the bill.  You'll see many flared sleeves and tassel details below, many of which will be perfect to add to your Spring wishlist.  Or shop some of the tiered sleeve and faux choker neck sweaters to finish out your Winter wardrobe.  I promise you will not be disappointed with the quality of these 2 brands.  Happy Shopping!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Roundup

July 21, 2016

Let's face it... I can't afford to buy all the things I'm currently coveting at Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale (#nsale).  But when a good sale comes along, I tend to spend my money on an investment piece (or two) that I know will last for years to come, like these boots!  Then I look for fun pieces that are maybe more trendy but too good to pass up, like this dress.

I did a little early access shopping last Friday...
  • I highly recommend scooping up a pair (or 2) of these Zella 'Live In' Leggings - they're my absolute favorite!
  • This Patagonia zipper down has been on my wish list for a while so I finally snagged it ($40 off with sale)
  • This ASTR suede dress will transition nicely into the Fall ($30 off with sale)
  • This peasant tunic has already sold-out, but I love this lace-up sweater

Palm, Palm Everywere

May 20, 2016

This palm print slip dress was one of my favorites to wear last summer.  It has since sold out, but Topshop now carries a similar dress with an almost identical print but with added punches of pink - a beautiful combo.  Palm print is still all the rage (see swimsuits and phone cases), so shop my other palm picks below before they're gone...

DIY - Fab Frames

February 27, 2013

If you love to shop as much as I do, you must also find yourself with tons of shopping bags.  Instead of throwing all the bags into the trash, I decided to try a little DIY project.   I purchased some inexpensive frames (5 frames for $25).  Then, I chose the bags (for this project I went with shopping bags with a neutral/greyscale color palette).   I simply cut the bags to fit within the frames (I even liked to include some of the handles, too).  Then hang + enjoy!

Open-back Optic

January 22, 2013

For those that don't know, TopShop has partnered with Nordstrom, so the iconic British styles can now be found at several Nordstrom department stores (+ online).  I was so excited when the TopShop boutique came to my store (I had only ever been to TopShop once in NYC).  But I was even more excited when I recently found several great pieces on crazy sale.  What do you think of this optic cross, open-back sweater?

Common Cold

January 14, 2013

I've discovered the best medicine for the common cold is a little (rest +) retail therapy...  You've got to love after Christmas Sales!  Happy Shopping.

Now you Know

October 22, 2012

If you didn't know by now...
1.  I love all things black + white.
2.  My favorite color is zebra.
3.  I love to shop.  I especially love to shop + find great sales.  Here are a few of my recent finds at the LOFT.   This sweater -perfect for the colder weather- and these pants were 50% off, and the skirt was only $12!  What's not to love!
Now you know...

Fall Favorites

October 19, 2012

Fall, my favorite season, is all about change.  The days are warm + the nights become cool, which makes Fall perfect time of year to update your look.  Here are a few pieces I purchased this summer that I can’t wait to style this season: black + white blouses, gold accessories, snake printed skinnies and leather trimmed jackets.  Stay tuned!
