This is my favorite scarf of the season! So its not surprise I had tons of fun wearing it a couple different ways. I hope this provides you with a bit of inspiration for all your favorite blanket scarfs this winter. For even more ideas, check out last year's blanket scarf post.

I started my new job 4 weeks ago now. I have to admit the first few weeks were tough. I found myself exhausted half way through the work week, which was totally unlike me. My eyes were burning and that exhausted feeling just consumed me. Who knows if the adjustment of my new schedule and increased screen time were to blame. Admittedly, I spend a good portion of my days 'in the glow', between Instagram and Facebook, checking emails and blogging at home... But in this digital age we live, theres really no avoiding it.
The timing couldn't have been more perfect whenPixel Eyewear reached out and asked me to try their glasses. If you haven't heard of Pixel Eyewear, they've been featured in Vogue and Inc.com. The lens are designed with a slightly yellow tint which helps to block some of the strong, artificial blue lights gleaming from computer and device screens that our eyes aren't really meant to handle. Their frames are super stylish, and available at a great price point! I knew it could only help my tired eye situation. I picked the Ventus and Omni styles, and they've been fantastic. Plus, it's fun to wear glasses without a prescription :) I try to wear my Pixels at least a few hours a day while I'm at my computer or on my iPad. I've found I'm less tired at that mid-afternoon slump. I've also tried to make other adjustments like going to bed earlier (I'm a night owl), drinking less coffee and exercising at least 4-5 days a week.
If you suffer from digital eye fatigue like me, you should get yourself a pair. For a limited time, you can receive $5 your first pair with code: 'kristy5'. See all the styles Pixel Eyewear has to offer here. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Happy Thursday everyone! This blanket scarf is making its second appearance on the blog - can you believe it was only $7?! My mom got the black-watch-plaid version, and my sister a similar plaid but with brighter, less traditional colors. You need to find yours in the Dollar Spot at Target!
Can I just tell you... this scarf was $7. Seven dollars. Steal of the century, am I right? I don't know how it happened. I walked into target and immediately started browsing the dollar spot - you know, that budget-friendly, on trend section right at the front of the store with all the cute seasonal accessories and trinkets. Well this scarf was there. How perfect, right? Sadly, I'm pretty sure I snagged the last one... But I've linked up very similar, budget friendly ones below. Or keep your eyes peeled during your next Target run..

Can I just tell you this grey turtleneck is only $15?! It's a very fine-knit, not heavy and super comfortable! I'm planning on packing this baby for my upcoming trip to Iceland. I'm even thinking about picking up the black option before they sell it. It's perfect for travel because it's lightweight, and it's versatility will allow me to style it a couple different ways on my trip. Can't wait!
My entire outfit is either on sale or very well priced - shoes are under $100 w/ coupon code 'SAVE', similar purse is only $25, poncho is only $30, and jeans are on sale for under $30. Happy Shopping!
